A great advantage of Google Fusion Table is the ability to edit the dataset once it is uploaded.
Similar to other visualization tools for data, you can upload, share and synchronize datasets, filter and aggregate the data, and then visualize it with all visualizations it offers. You can choose between Map, Intensity map, Line, Bar, Pie, Scatter, Motion, Timeline and Storyline visualizations.
To start using it, you need to have Google Account and to upload your dataset to Google Docs (or create it in Google Spreadsheets).
Fusion Tables use the Google Visualization API to create the visualizations and if you have some advanced coding skills you can create much more impressive stuff.
One thing I didn’t like is the way visualizations look like, after I embedded them on my blog. It is somehow narrow (too much blank space) and not really beautiful, comparing visualizations I created with the other tools. To make this visualization look better, you should consider some programming work, coding skills and more time.
